Welcome
Are you someone who keeps finding themselves repeating the same painful patterns? Are you left feeling anxious, exhausted, frustrated and stuck with your current life situation?
You may be struggling with addictive and compulsive behaviours or despairing from what feels like consistent arguments with your family. Perhaps you're in the process of a painful divorce?
If you’re open to exploring parts of your life and gaining some understanding about them, I can help you along this path. Together we can investigate your stuck ways of being, the painful feelings and learn ways of managing and coping.
About me
I’ve worked in health and wellness for many years. I have always been a people person and my interest in mental health has developed through my study of Psychology at the University of Edinburgh where I had my own struggles with anxiety, addiction and mental health in my teens and twenties.
This led me into recovery and I have been on the psychological change and self-development path ever since. First running my own successful business as a Personal Trainer before qualifying as a Psychotherapist.
Discovering what’s important to me and what I’m passionate about, led me to train as a fitness coach helping people reach their physical and emotional goals.
Qualifying as a therapist and continuing to develop my expertise in mental health has only served to deepen my passion for helping people to build better lives. I work mostly but not exclusively with men and am committed to helping my clients become the people they want to be.
I do this by helping them get unstuck from painful behaviour patterns and explore more constructive ways to manage challenging relationship dynamics and increase self-esteem.

About my therapy
I work integratively and I am committed to exploring a holistic approach to health and wellbeing that is practical and achievable. Throughout my life (and career), I have tried a lot of different approaches to health and well being and I integrate these into my own work with clients to develop the most effective treatment tailored to each person.
When we start work together, we will talk about what’s causing you issues now, then look at your life as a whole. This process can help you gain some understanding as to why you may be feeling the way your feeling.
We may explore developmental trauma and attachment issues from the past but integrate these discoveries with 3rd wave CBT approaches such as ACT to help you gain more abilities to manage life in the present.
Developing these skills and deepening your understanding can assist you in affecting change in your life, so that you don’t have to feel the way you’re feeling now, for the rest of your life.
The benefits of therapy with me can include:
